As long as he can remember David Callahan Robert has always had a passion for music. As a child he used to sing along Elvis Presley's songs. When he was 13 he learned to play the drums and played in several Hardcore and Post-Harcore bands for 8 years. Now that experience helps him to structure his songs. During these years he borrowed his brother's guitar and learned to play the songs of Alice In Chains' Jar Of Flies album. However he really started writing songs when he was 19 years old. Years after years, haunted by the ghosts of Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley, Johnny Cash and Elliott Smith, he improved his writing to create now intimate songs with picturesque words. Callahan opened in particular for Christian Kjellvander (SWE), Ane Brun (NOR), Wendy McNeil (CAN), Kera (CH) & The Devastations (AUS)

Morten W. Gjul, a great painter from Norway, asked me to write a instrumental song for an exhibition. As I find his work brilliant I accepted with pleasure.
The exhibition opened 9. March in a place called Stjordal (Midle of Norway) and hanged some weeks.
My song "Swallows & Dawn" is associated with his paintings in the form of a video.

Salut Callahan! J'aime beaucoup tes chansons. Une copine t'a vu en concert vendredi dernier et elle m'a dit que c'était vraiment bien. Alors j'espère pouvoir te voir un jour par chez moi!
